The Farm	We are seeking an experienced, motivated and skilled farm Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a 162 Acre Milking platform, 20 aside Herringbone parlour with ACRs, & 40 Acres out farm (10km away
The Role	Manage and operate the farm to a consistently high standard. Integrate fully into the farm team while supporting and upholding the farm’s values and ethos. Introduce and implement protocols aimed at improving overall farm performance. Carry out twice-daily milking while maintaining excellent milking routines. Maintain Somatic Cell Count (SCC) levels below 120. Ensure the milking parlour and surrounding areas are kept immaculately clean at all times. Provide the highest standard of livestock care, including feeding, health monitoring, veterinary treatments, lameness management, and ensuring constant access to clean water. Maintain accurate and up-to-date herd health and medical records. Manage all aspects of herd fertility, maintaining empty rates typically between 4–7%, including tail painting, heat detection, and drafting. Communicate and liaise professionally with farm owners, staff, relief milkers, contractors, and neighbours. Maintain farm fencing to a high standard. Operate dairy farm machinery and equipment safely and responsibly.
The Applicant	Previous experience in a similar dairy farm role. Ability to take full responsibility for farm operations when required. Full clean driving licence. European passport holder. Strong English communication skills. Demonstrates a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Ability to contribute positively to a small farm team and improve team dynamics. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding farm business matters. Punctuality and reliability are essential and non-negotiable for this role.
