| The Farm | The Farm: 200 cow dairy herd near Stoneyford seeks an assistant herdsman to work alongside the farm owner. The farm is well equippped with high end farm machinery and equipment. |
| The Role | Typical assistant herdsman`s duties, milking , calf rearing, bedding, feeding, diet feeding, slurry spreading and general farm work. On occasions you will be asked to take responsibility for the day to day activities on your own (following full training provided of course). With this in mind only people who will be comfortable assuming that level of responsibility should apply. |
| The Applicant | A person who has some experience of all of the above who wants to commit to a couple of years on a good modern developing farm.The ability to thrive in a small farm team is a prerequsite. |
| Accommodation | Accommodation: A comfortable apartment on the farm is available. |
