Irish farming links with Ukraine
The ongoing lack of sufficient numbers of interested people willing to work on Irish farms has led to a Co Wexford company visiting The Ukraine, where they found such people in abundance.
While Farm Solutions Ltd have been bringing workers from Czech Republic to some of Ireland’s top farms for the past 2 years, this is their first time recruiting practising farmers from Eastern Europe.
