Farm Solutions Ltd have been providing a professional, reliable relief milking service to dairy farmers in Co Wexford for more than 30 years. Times have changed a lot since the concept of relief milking was first introduced. Herd sizes have increased, modern computerised milking parlour systems have become established, and fewer people are available to do the job.

We have a pool of trained milking operators. Many of these are farmers who supplement their own farm income by doing contract milkings for Farm Solutions Ltd. This involves a lot of planning on their part, but to be effective, the planning must be a three-way process.

In order to get the best service and value for your money, farmers should plan ahead. Farm Solutions Ltd encourages its members to plan their milking requirements, in order that their demands can be met. Booking forms are sent to members in April of each year. It is advisable to indicate your requirements on this form and return to us at the beginning of the busy milking season (usually early May).
